Public summary of the evaluation summary report of the CircularInvest calls for EoIs
The present deliverable informs on the features of each Call for Expressions of Interest (timeline, selection process, respective statistics) of the CircularInvest project. It then presents the results of an in-depth analysis to the received applications providing insights on what to do/what to avoid when developing circular economy projects – this results in a summary of the three Calls for EoI to de delivered to the public.
Public summary of service delivery
This publication presents the experience gained through the delivery of the specialised services delivered to selected circular economy projects. It summarises the methodology adopted by the consortium, the services provided, the main results achieved and the lessons learned during implementation.
Circular Investor guide
This document serves as a practical guide for investors engaging with the circular economy. It is intended to be broadly suitable to multiple stages and type of business, and is structured in line with these three key dimensions of the investment case – value, risk and impact – and presents the nuances of circularity in each case, as well as citing the most relevant existing resources, tools and frameworks to be considered. The guide is intended to be a succinct overview of the specific considerations for circular economy investment.

This policy brief argues that financing Europe’s circular transition requires a shift from investment-readiness to investment alignment. While existing measures help circular businesses attract finance, capital continues to flow predominantly toward linear, resource-intensive activities. The brief proposes integrating resource dependency into banking supervision, using credit guidance to align lending with industrial and resource-security objectives, and expanding direct public investment and ownership to support strategic circular innovation and infrastructure.
