This platform provides consumers with direct access to both classic and creative alternatives to conventional shopping. Designed to be as user-friendly as purchasing new items, LoopLook features a comprehensive guide for upgrading clothes, a responsive search, filter, and mapping system, an efficient booking process, and various inspirational resources. Additionally, users are informed about their ecological footprint and the positive impact of reusing their garments. Expected impact

  1. CO2 Reduction: Reuse of textiles can save approximately 25 kg of CO2 per 1 kg of textiles reused. If target consumers reduce new textile consumption by 50%, this could save 1.4 million tons of CO2e annually.
  2. Waste Reduction: By promoting repair, reuse, and upcycling, the project can reduce textile waste by up to 90,000 tons annually in Germany alone, preventing nearly 400 tons of textile waste from being discarded each year.
  3. Resource Savings: Through reuse measures, the project can help save 2 million tons of raw materials and 45 million m³ of 'blue' water per year by cutting new textile consumption by 50% in EU capitals.
  4. New Purchases Replaced: Up to 57% of new clothing purchases could be replaced by repair and upcycling services, effectively doubling the usage time of textiles and reducing the demand for new resources.
